Frequently Asked Questions

How is The Give Grace Foundation funded?

We seek donations from specific people or entities that God puts on our heart. We believe having to bury a child is one of the most devastating things a family can face on this side of heaven. We unapologetically seek funding to offset this burden for families. The Give Grace Foundation also looks to host a large scale formal gala each year to earn funding.

How are the donated funds used?

Donated funds are solely used to pay for the funeral costs for children. Currently we only support families and children in Marion county, Iowa. Donated funds are not used to pay salaries or administrative costs.

How do you choose the families who receive support?

We work with local funeral directors and other professionals in the medical field to determine which families receive our support. We do not accept unsolicited nominations of families. It is our intent that the funding be given to the families without them, or anyone else, ever needing to apply or be nominated.

How do the families receive the funding?

We work directly with the local funeral directors to pay the expenses incurred by the families. The families receive their funeral, burial and/or memorial bills marked “paid in full by the Give Grace Foundation”.
